Dream tending [videorecording] : with Stephen Aizenstat : a unique approach to understanding and learning from our dreams / Bison Films.

From back: As modern life becomes ever more hectic, dream expert Dr. Stephen Aizenstat suggests an often overlooked path to knowledge: learning from our dreams. Aizenstat believes the unique perspective and intelligence found in dreams can help us to better access and understand our personal stories and the stories of the world -- the hidden stories being played out far below day-to-day life. By paying attention to these stories, we gain access to a resource we may have long forgotten or ignored. In tending our dreams, we invite inner life to inform outer life. A trained clinical psychologist, and co-founder of Pacifica Graduate Institute, Aizenstat grounds his method in the work of Carl Jung, Sigmund Freud, James Hillman, and Marion Woodman. Aizenstat goes further, also incorporating ancient beliefs about dreams held by indigenous peoples. The result is an innovative and artistic approach that allows the images in dream to come to life, and bring forth their unique message.
